Planning a repeat material order
A repeat enquiry should identify the approved specification and requested changes.

A repeat enquiry should identify the approved specification and requested changes.
Reference the earlier agreement
Provide the material identity, specification version and previous order or project reference. Identify the pack presentation and documents that were accepted. A short message asking for the same product may not capture a counter-ion, analytical or packaging requirement.
Confirm what is current
Availability, offered lot and commercial terms may change. Ask for current documentation and confirm whether any identity, process, method or pack attribute differs. If the project needs a change, state it explicitly so that the new quotation can be reviewed against the updated requirement.
Review checklist
- Approved identity and specification
- Earlier project or order reference
- Quantity and packaging
- Current lot and documents
- Requested changes and acceptance review
Include this in your enquiry
Send the precise material or project identity, target amount and destination, together with the questions in this checklist. State which requirements are fixed and which need technical review. The team can then confirm the relevant document or development scope. Keep the agreed requirements with the quotation and project reference.
