Discuss sequence-specific modifications, labeling and an analytical plan for your research project.
Define the modification at the sequence level
Modification enquiries should specify the location, chemistry and intended analytical or research role of each change. A request for a fluorescent, biotinylated, phosphorylated, acetylated, PEG-modified or cyclic peptide should include an annotated sequence and a description of the expected product. Feasibility is reviewed for the exact sequence and chemistry.
Terminal groups
State the required N- and C-terminal forms and any terminal attachment points.
Position-specific chemistry
Identify each residue or functional group involved. Include a structure sketch or reference if a name could be interpreted in different ways.
Label identity
Specify the label, linker, attachment position and any restrictions imposed by the research workflow.
Verification plan
Discuss identity, purity, composition and other acceptance tests needed to distinguish the intended material from closely related species.
We do not assume that every modification can be transferred to every sequence or scale. A project review should address synthesis, purification, analytical interpretation and the format needed by the customer. A quotation follows the agreed scope rather than a generic capability badge.
Prepare your project brief
- Annotated peptide sequence and terminal groups.
- Exact modification, label and linker identities.
- Target amount and preferred material form.
- Purity target and analytical acceptance criteria.
- Relevant research reference and destination.
