Pen-device project responsibilities
A device program requires clear component, testing and regulatory responsibilities.

A device program requires clear component, testing and regulatory responsibilities.
Identify the interfaces
Describe the device architecture, container and any formulation interface. Specify who supplies each component and what compatibility evidence is needed. A presentation-box mockup cannot establish the performance or suitability of the assembled device.
Agree the project boundary
Set responsibilities for assembly, mechanical evaluation, labeling, documentation and the intended market category. A drug-device program may require work beyond the packaging and development scope of a research supplier. Those responsibilities should be visible in the project agreement.
Review checklist
- Component and container specification
- Compatibility questions
- Assembly responsibilities
- Testing and acceptance evidence
- Market and regulatory ownership
Include this in your enquiry
Send the precise material or project identity, target amount and destination, together with the questions in this checklist. State which requirements are fixed and which need technical review. The team can then confirm the relevant document or development scope. Keep the agreed requirements with the quotation and project reference.
