Oral film development checklist
Film formula, geometry, handling and packaging belong in one brief.

Film formula, geometry, handling and packaging belong in one brief.
Define the intended product
Identify the ingredients, material forms and intended category. Specify the desired geometry, appearance and sensory objectives. Explain which properties are fixed and which should be explored in prototypes. This lets the project distinguish a visual sample from a design that has met agreed criteria.
Evaluate the packaged film
Discuss individual pouch construction, sealing and handling. Assessment should relate to the actual composition and package. A transparent film image does not establish uniformity, disintegration, absorption or a medicinal claim. Agree the questions and document requirements appropriate to the program.
Review checklist
- Composition and ingredient identity
- Film geometry and sensory targets
- Prototype tests
- Individual pouch and carton
- Classification and evidence responsibilities
Include this in your enquiry
Send the precise material or project identity, target amount and destination, together with the questions in this checklist. State which requirements are fixed and which need technical review. The team can then confirm the relevant document or development scope. Keep the agreed requirements with the quotation and project reference.
