How to prepare a research peptide RFQ
A useful quotation starts with an exact identity, amount and evidence requirement.

A useful quotation starts with an exact identity, amount and evidence requirement.
Identity before price
Give the peptide name together with the sequence, terminal groups and material form where known. A common name can hide differences in salt form, counter-ion or modification. If the source listing uses an abbreviation, attach a specification rather than assuming the supplier will interpret it the same way.
Define the commercial comparison
State the amount, subdivision, container and destination. Explain whether the request is a catalog presentation or a custom program. Include the target grade, documents and timing needed for the project. These inputs let the quotation identify assumptions and exclusions instead of reducing every difference to a unit price.
Review checklist
- Exact identity and requested form
- Quantity and pack configuration
- Analytical requirements and acceptance basis
- Destination and receiving requirements
- Project timing and review milestones
Include this in your enquiry
Send the precise material or project identity, target amount and destination, together with the questions in this checklist. State which requirements are fixed and which need technical review. The team can then confirm the relevant document or development scope. Keep the agreed requirements with the quotation and project reference.
